Privacy Notice

This website, contact inquiries, and email correspondence.

Who is responsible

Digital Creative Academy LLC, Switzerland, is responsible for personal information handled through this website. Contact us at info@digital-creative-academy.com for privacy questions or requests.

This notice covers the studio website, not accounts or activity within our separate products. Those products have their own privacy policies. Where separate consent is required, we will request it specifically.

Information we handle

When you contact us, we receive your name, email address, inquiry type, and message, together with any optional company details, timeline, budget, goals, or follow-up correspondence you provide. Please avoid unnecessary sensitive information or confidential details about other people.

Website requests also involve technical information such as IP address, browser details, requested pages, timestamps, and security or error logs. This supports delivery of the website and prevention of abuse.

Why we use it

We use information to answer inquiries, provide support, discuss potential work, manage business relationships, secure the website, and meet legal obligations. Where GDPR applies, the basis is taking steps at your request before a contract or performing a contract, our legitimate interests in responding to business inquiries and operating a secure website, or a legal obligation, as appropriate.

The form sends your inquiry to us by email and attempts to send you a confirmation. It does not subscribe you to a newsletter. We do not sell your personal information.

Providers and international processing

Hosting and email providers process information needed to operate the website and deliver and store correspondence. Our setup supports Render hosting and Google/Gmail email delivery; the providers in use depend on the hosting and email arrangements. Access is limited to people and providers who need it for these purposes, or recipients required by law.

Provider processing may occur outside Switzerland, including in the United States. Where required, transfers must use an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses with relevant Swiss, EU, or UK adaptations. Contact us for current provider locations and the safeguards applicable to your information.

Retention and protection

We retain correspondence for as long as needed to address the inquiry, manage any resulting relationship, and meet applicable record-keeping obligations or handle legal claims. The relevant period depends on the purpose, whether the matter is ongoing, and applicable legal requirements; submitting an inquiry does not start a fixed automatic-deletion countdown.

Email copies, provider backups, and technical logs may have separate retention periods. Contact us about the period or deletion options for your information. We use appropriate access and security safeguards, but no website or email service can guarantee absolute security.

Cookies and linked products

This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics scripts. Hosting and security services may still process technical request data. Following a product or other external link takes you to a separate service whose privacy and browser-storage practices apply there.

Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your information, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing. You may complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner or another competent data-protection authority.

Email info@digital-creative-academy.com to make a request. We may ask for proportionate identity verification; do not send passwords or payment-card details. Where EU or UK GDPR applies, we normally respond within one month; any permitted extension will be explained within that month. Other applicable deadlines remain unaffected.

We will update this notice when our practices change and provide any notice or request any consent required by law.
